1. He is a fraternity brother. 他是兄弟会的一员.

2. She is a sorority sister. 她是姐妹会的成员

3. I am returning this book. 我想要还这本书.

4. I want to renew this book. 我想续借我的书
"I want to renew my car insurance for this coming year. "

5. I just bought a brand new car. 我买了一辆新车.

6. I want to be a pornstar. 我要化装成 AV 女优.

7. He is really a tough guy; he takes no prisoner. 他很严格, 手下绝不留情.
所谓takes no prisoner指的是战争时不收战俘, 抓到全部杀死的意思, 也就是说够狠. 老美常用 tough 来形容一件事情的困难或是一个人的强硬态度, 例如, "Today is a tough day for me." 就是说今天过得很不容易啦. 要是说 "The professor is tough." 则是说这个教授教课很严格, 很不好混的意思. 要是别人遇到这种 tough 的教授, 你就可以鼓励他, "Tough it out!" 就是说把它撑过去.
同样地, 这句话你也可以说成 "The professor goes for kill." 就是说这个教授支持杀戮. 下手绝不留情.

8. It's a cake course. 这是一门大补丸的课.

9. Which department is she in? 她是哪一个系的?

10. Is there any way we can move it? 我们有没有办法改地方.
"Is there some other way...?" 就是有没有其它的办法. move it 可以指很多事, 如换教室, 换地点, 都可以用 move. 不要再说 change place 了.
